Maison Margiela was founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela, and the brand takes pride in “deconstructing, reinventing and redefining” both men- and womenswear. On each Maison Margiela label, the numbers 0-23 are printed in black. Each number corresponds to a line, and this story is about line 22 – footwear.

Maison Margiela offers high quality sneakers in line with the current trends in the sneaker-universe; the iconic Replica, which comes in both high- and low-top, and the new calfskin styles; the low-top with chunky sole and the mid-top.

The Replica sneaker is constructed as a part of the brand’s larger Replica concept, which reproduces found garments from varying sources and periods. The sneaker is inspired by German army sneakers from the 70s, and has a minimalistic look, with geometric details on the upper and a rubber sole. The Replica sneaker is a high-quality leather sneaker, which comes in several different colors, and both high- and low-top to fit your preference.

The S37WS0336 and S57WS0156 are the same model in respectively suede and leather. and shares a resemblance with the iconic Air Force One from Nike, but is a sleeker take on the classic streetwear silhouette. The sneaker features a chunky rubber sole, lace-up front, signature geometric panels and brand embossed on the tongue. The sneaker comes in different, neutral colors and both suede and leather.

The S37WS0314 is a high-top sneaker. The sneaker is in a smooth calfskin leather, and has a perforated panels on the upper, a padded, layered effect on the ankle, brand embossed tongue and rubber soles.
