Postponement of agreement

Please note that your submission of the order is not a legally binding agreement. A binding agreement has only been entered into once you have received the invoice.

Placing order

Placing an order via the website is not a legally binding agreement for STOY. The order is considered an offer from the buyer and not acceptance of a legally binding agreement. STOY is not bound by the agreement until you have received the invoice. STOY reserves the right until the final legal agreement has been entered into the possibility to cancel the buyer's order as a result of:

  1. Price error
  2. Printing error
  3. Technical problems
  4. Delivery failures
  5. Force majeure
  6. Stock error

The list is not exhaustive. 

Once you have placed an order via the website, STOY's system will send you an e-mail stating which items you have ordered. This is only an electronic receipt for reception of your order. The receipt is not an order confirmation.

 

Right of withdrawal
Do you regret your purchase please return the package in the same condition as you got it at the reception. It is important that the products original packaging is not damaged or ruined. We reserve the right to reject a package if the products packaging is ruined and cannot be sold again.

Your right of withdrawal is 30 days when you are shopping online. Your right of withdrawal stars when you have received your product. Your right of withdrawal has been complied with if the product is returned within 30 days from the reception.

If you reject to receive your product at arrival, we reserve the right to charge a fee, according to the negative contractual interest, for any expenses we may have when returning the product.

Exchange/return policy
Do you wish to exchange your product for another size or another product you have to use the attached return label and hand in the your return package at the post office. STOY will pay for the shipping when you chose to exchange.

You cannot exchange a product to one with a higher price than you have received.
Please note if you wish to exchange an order we will return your money and send you a new payment link on the email address provided. Whenever the link is paid we will ship the new item you wish. An updated order confirmation will hereafter be send to your email. 

Do you want to return your product and get your money back you have to pay for the shipping by yourself. You can choose to use the attached return label. Be aware of that we impose a fee at 29DKK

If you choose to return your product the shipping fee is not refunded.

Complaints
Products bought at STOY is covered by the two year right of complaints in the danish purchase act.

The right of complaints doesn’t count products which is defective due to wear, injuries caused by improper use or lack of maintenance.

Defects
When buying sale items and this suffers from a defect, regardless of whether it is a species or gender purchase, §42-44 of the Purchase Act applies.

Payment
We accept PayPal and the following credit cards:

The amount will be withdrawn from your account when the product is sent from our storage. All prices are in danish crowns and included 25% VAT. 

ViaBill
We offer payment by Viabill. Please read more about the terms and conditions of ViaBill on their website

Security
All purchases through Stoy.com are made via an encrypted SSL connection. STOY therefore does not have access to your account information. Only Nets has access to your data. Your personal contact information is 100% confidential and will never be passed on to others.

For security reasons, we can only refund money for a product to the payment card or PayPal account, which is also used at the time of purchase.

Subscription information for STOY's news mail will also only be processed internally. We use this information in order processing and direct marketing of our products.

For further information regarding data protection, we refer to our privacy policy at the bottom of the website.

Shipping
We use the following freight companies:

Denmark: GLS Denmark

Sweden: GLS Sweden

The rest of the world: DHL Express

For delivery in Denmark, the following delivery methods are offered:

GLS home delivery (the package is delivered to your private address) : 29DKK
GLS business delivery (the package is delivered to the workplace): 29DKK
GLS package shop (You choose the delivery location yourself): 29 DKK
Pick-up in our store: 0DKK

We offer free shipping on orders above 500DKK. Please note, this does not apply to sale items.

For delivery to the rest of the world, shipping costs the following:

EU: €10 
USA: $20 
Beyond EU: €20

All packages are sent by insured parcel post through GLS.

Delivery time is usually 1-3 business days. Upon shipment, you will receive a Track & Trace shipping number so you can track and track your package.

At checkout on Stoy.com, you can choose whether you want to pick up your purchase in our store in Aarhus. When the purchase is ready for collection in our store, we will send an SMS to the phone number you have provided.

Regardless of the choice of the above delivery methods, you must bring your order confirmation and valid ID when picking up your order.

Further shipping information
All foreign shipments are sent under incoterms DAP (Delivery At Place)

Any customs or import duties will be charged when the package(s) arrive in the country of destination. These fees must be paid by the recipient of the package.

Please note that we do not have control over these taxes and cannot inform you of what the price will be as policies and import taxes vary from country to country.

The recipient of the package takes full responsibility for all shipping costs, return costs, customer fees and/or handling fees if the recipient refuses to accept a package due to import duties and/or taxes.

We cannot mark orders as gifts according to customs and duties.

Sale
Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to offer gift wrapping on sale items and discounted items.

During sale periods, longer delivery times can be expected than usual.

During extra busy sales periods, it is not always possible to pick up orders in the physical store on Store Torv 4. If the delivery option "Pick-up in store" can be selected at check-out, you have the option of picking up your order in our store.

Right of appeal
In the event of disagreements about a solution in the event of a complaint or deficiencies, you as a customer can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution and then the Consumer Complaints Board, if there is no solution by mediation in the first mentioned.

The fee at the Center for Complaint Resolution is DKK 100 and DKK 400 at the Consumer Complaints Board.

Please note that the starting point for the minimum value for clothes is 680DKK, to complain. 

Raffles
We are subject to the Gambling Authority's Games Rules and therefore the minimum age for participation is 16 years.

It is only allowed to participate once per. Raffle.

Please note that your participation in Raffle is binding and cannot be cancelled.

After finishing Raffle, the winner will be contacted per. mail and then receive the product.
