SCHATTEN AUF DEN ERSTEN BLICK
Shadow ist der dritte Schuh aus Nike First Sight Kollektion, die erstmals im März 2026 vorgestellt wurde und die innovative Trilogie vervollständigt. Der Shadow ist tief in Nike Basketball-DNA verwurzelt und verleiht Silhouetten der frühen 2000er-Jahre einen futuristischen Slip-On-Look. In dieser ersten Version erscheint der Shadow in Metallic Silver und Triple Black. Das skulpturale Obermaterial besticht durch fließende, wellenförmige Linien mit einem Punktmuster, während metallische TPU-Perlen mit irisierendem Finish dem schwarzen Modell ein besonderes Detail verleihen. Unter dem Schuh sorgt ein von Nike Basketballschuhen inspiriertes, speziell entwickeltes Traktionsmuster für zusätzliche Performance.

Fabian Bergmark Näsman (b. 1991, Sweden) creates sculptures through a recursive process of casting, dissection, and reconstruction. Working from a single original mold, each new sculpture is assembled from whole or partial elements of previous works, allowing every piece to evolve into a unique form while remaining genetically connected to its origin.
Drawing inspiration from biological regeneration and hybridization, his sculptures exist in the space between the organic and the artificial. Their fluid, speculative forms evoke living organisms while embracing the precision of industrial production. Rather than pursuing isolated objects, Bergmark Näsman continuously develops an evolving sculptural language in which every work becomes part of an expanding family of forms.
"What drew me to the Nike First Sight Shadow was its sculptural quality and the way it challenges familiar footwear archetypes while remaining rooted in movement and performance. That tension resonates with my own practice, where every sculpture evolves from an earlier form through recursive repetition and transformation. Instead of mimicking the shoe, I translated its design language into a sculpture that explores movement, mutation, and the space between the organic and the engineered: a form that feels alive, evolving, and impossible to place within a single category."
