Ceramic and stoneware is not only an art object but a beautiful and important piece in everyday life. With inspiration from nature and her surroundings, Birgitte P produces unique ceramics in raku and stoneware quality. All products are handmade by herself in her workshop in Humlebæk in the middle of the nature between the ocean and forest. The harsh changing nature and the special light around her workshop are clearly shown in her products. Her inspiration from nature is a big influence when working and choosing colors for the glaze on the hand-moulded stoneware. Birgitte P uses the old Japanese burning technique raku for her ceramics, and due to the extreme heat, it gives a unique result for every product.
