Dyngja is a premium collection of lightweight, high-quality down garments featuring 700 fill-power insulation. Inspired by classic 66 North designs from the early 2000s, the collection blends style and sustainability by using recycled down sourced from used clothing and bedding. This eco-conscious approach diverts waste from landfills and extends the lifecycle of natural materials. The cleaning, sterilizing, and processing of the recycled down closely mirror those used for virgin down, ensuring top-tier cleanliness and performance.
The down used in Dyngja garments is a blend of white goose and duck down with 700 fill power, sourced from Germany and VET certified for quality. Designed for both everyday city life and occasional outdoor adventures, Dyngja offers versatility and warmth in any setting. Key features include a detachable hood and adjustable drawcord, as well as three zippered pockets—two at the front and one inside. A dual slider front zipper with a snapped-down wind flap ensures added comfort and protection against the elements.
The outer layer of Dyngja is made from 100% recycled nylon with water-repellent qualities. This fabric is sourced from pre-consumer waste fibers discarded by weaving mills, giving new life to materials that would otherwise be downcycled or sent to landfills. By using recycled nylon, the production process reduces petroleum extraction, carbon emissions, and conserves energy and water, making Dyngja not just stylish and functional, but also environmentally responsible.
