Norda was founded in 2020 to develop shoes that can withstand the harshest Canadian conditions. Their ambition resulted in the Norda 001 shoes, which were tested for over two years to ensure they could endure the most extreme environments, whether it be extreme cold, waterlogged terrain, or rugged trails.
The shoes are constructed with bio-based Dyneema®, the world’s strongest and lightest fiber, which, together with Vibram “Litebase” technology in the sole, has been shown to reduce the sole weight by up to 30%. This combination helps preserve the runner’s energy and enhance performance, even under the most demanding conditions.
