Postponement of agreement
Please note that your submission of the order is not a legally binding agreement. A binding agreement has only been entered once you have received the invoice.

Placing order

Placing an order via the website is not a legally binding agreement for stoy. The order is considered an offer from the buyer and not acceptance of a legally binding agreement. Stoy is not bound by the agreement until you have received the invoice. Until the final legal agreement has been entered, stoy reserves the right to cancel the buyer's order as a result of:

  1. Price error
  2. Printing error
  3. Technical problems
  4. Delivery failures
  5. Force majeure
  6. Stock error

The list is not exhaustive. 

Once you have placed an order via the website, stoy's system will send you an e-mail stating which items you have ordered. This is only an electronic receipt for reception of your order. The receipt is not an order confirmation.

Right of withdrawal
If you regret your purchase, please return the package in the same condition as you got it at the reception. It is important that the products original packaging is not damaged or ruined. We reserve the right to reject a package if the products packaging is ruined and cannot be sold again.

Your right of withdrawal is 30 days when you are shopping online and the right of withdrawal starts when you have received your product. Your right of withdrawal has been complied with if the product is returned within 30 days from the reception. Please note that sale items can be returned within 14 days. 

If you reject to receive your product at arrival, we reserve the right to charge a fee, according to the negative contractual interest, for any expenses we may have when returning the product.

Exchange/return policy
If you wish to exchange your product for another size, you have to use the attached return label and hand in your return package at the post office. stoy will pay for the shipping when you choose to make an exchange. Please note which size you wish to exchange for on the attached return form. The new item will be shipped upon receipt of the old item. stoy reserve any right to refuse an exchange and cannot guarantee stock of your desired product.

Do you wish to return your product and get a refund you have to pay for the shipping by yourself. You can choose to use the attached return label (only orders shipped within Denmark). Be aware of that we impose a fee of 39DKK

If you choose to return your product the shipping fee is not refunded.

All shipping cost related to exchange in Denmark are covered by stoy. For international orders the exchange and return costs are covered by the customer.

Products bought at stoy is covered by the two year right of complaints in the danish purchase act.

The right of complaints doesn’t count products which is defective due to wear, injuries caused by improper use or lack of maintenance.

When buying sale items and this suffers from a defect, regardless of whether it is a species or gender purchase, §42-44 of the Purchase Act applies.

The amount will be withdrawn from your account when the product is sent from our storage. All prices are in Danish crowns and included 25% VAT. 

All purchases through www.stoy.com are made via an encrypted SSL connection. stoy therefore does not have access to your account information. Only Nets has access to your data. Your personal contact information is 100% confidential and will never be passed on to others.

For security reasons, we can only refund money for a product to the payment card or PayPal account, which is also used at the time of purchase.

Subscription information for stoy's news mail will also only be processed internally. We use this information in order processing and direct marketing of our products.

For further information regarding data protection, we refer to our privacy policy at the bottom of the website.

We offer free shipping in Denmark on orders above 500DKK. Delivery methods applicable for free shipping are GLS Parcel Shop and GLS Business Delivery.

Please note, free shipping on orders above 500DKK does not apply to sale items or release items.

Delivery time is usually 1-3 business days. Upon shipment, you will receive a Track & Trace shipping number so you can track and track your package.

At checkout on Stoy.com, you can choose whether you want to pick up your purchase in our store in Aarhus. When the purchase is ready for collection in our store, we will send a mail to the email address you have provided.

Please note that you have 7 days to collect your order. If the order is not collected within the specified deadline, the order can be canceled without further notice.

Regardless of the choice of the above delivery methods, you must bring your order confirmation and valid ID when picking up your order.

We reserve the right to request an additional shipping payment for orders with multiple items.

Further shipping information
Depending on your order and country, you will be liable to pay any local taxes and duties upon receipt of your parcel, for which stoy cannot be responsible. Please note that we do not have control over these taxes and cannot inform you of what the price will be as policies and import taxes vary from country to country.

A refusal of payment of any duties and/or taxes will cause a full cancellation of your order. Shipping cost and any additional cost associated with a cancellation will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

All shipments are sent under incoterms DAP (Delivery at Place).

We cannot mark orders as gifts according to customs and duties.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to offer gift wrapping on sale items and discounted items.

During sale periods, longer delivery times can be expected than usual.

During extra busy sales periods, it is not always possible to pick up orders in the physical store on Store Torv 4. If the delivery option "Local pick-up" can be selected at check-out, you have the option of picking up your order in our store.

Right of appeal
In the event of disagreements about a solution in the event of a complaint or deficiencies, you as a customer can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution and then the Consumer Complaints Board, if there is no solution by mediation in the first mentioned.

The fee at the Center for Complaint Resolution is DKK 100 and DKK 400 at the Consumer Complaints Board.

Please note that the starting point for the minimum value for clothes is 720DKK, to complain. The monetary limits can be changed.

You can also use the European Commission's online complaint portal to submit a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. You can submit your complaint through the European Commission's online complaint portal.
