The Parisian designer Alexandre Mattiussi, has worked for brands as Dior, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs before he in 2011 started AMI. AMI is French for “friend” and that is exactly what AMI is, casual, unpretentious and friendly. The collections are a mix of casual and chic just like the city that inspires the designer, Paris.AMI de Coeur is the line with the recognizable logo, a heart on top of an A. The logo has been Alexandre Mattiussi’s signature since he was a kid. The line consists of unisex styles in the form of t-shirts, sweats and knits.
